A new landed home at Semanja Kajang, designed and built as one project: interior design, renovation and full-home custom carpentry. The owners asked for a bright home with classic wooden finishes, so the palette runs light, with warm timber carpentry and one statement material carried through the main spaces.
That material is fish gold maw marble. It appears on the kitchen island and again on the TV cabinet, so the kitchen and living hall read as one continuous space instead of two rooms. The kitchen also hides a door: a wall panel colour-matched to the cabinetry conceals the entrance to the wet area, keeping the dry kitchen clean-lined.
